Katelin Shum

Biography

Hi! I'm Katelin Shum, a third-year Theatre major from San Diego, CA. This is my first year as a BA Rep and I am so excited to help you all on finding your home within this department! My main focus has been on Acting, but I also have experience in Playwriting and Directing. 

Highlights of my time at UCSD include working on the Wagner New Play Festival, Company157, studying abroad at LAMDA, and interning at the La Jolla Playhouse.

Prior to UCSD, I was a member of both the Acting Conservatory and the Teen Council at La Jolla Playhouse. 

Outside of theatre, I am involved with Associated Students (AS). 

My hobbies include watching Gilmore Girls, arts & crafts, reading, and eating buffalo wings.
