The Theatre and Dance Department is excited to invite incoming students to our 2022 Fall Orientation on September 20th & 21st.  Event information regarding locations and times can be found in your UCSD email. Please check your UCSD email and RSVP to the Theatre & Dance Orientation events before Monday, September 12th.

Auditions for Fall Performances

 Upcoming Auditions for Fall 2022 THEATRE Shows:

  • First Round General Video Submissions Deadline: Week 0, Monday, September 19th, by 9am PST
  • Callbacks: Week 0, Saturday, September 24th, 11am-4pm PST

Upcoming Auditions for Fall 2022 DANCE Shows:

The Fall Dance Concert 2022 will be directed by Yolande Snaith, featuring choreography by dance faculty: Alison Smith, Sadie Weinberg, and Yolande Snaith.

  • Audition: Monday, September 26th at 4-6 PM, Molli and Arthur Wagner Dance Building (studio tbc).
  • An initial meeting / audition will be held for all students interested in performing in one or more of the dance works in week 1, in the Molli and Arthur Wagner Dance Building. Come and learn more about each dance maker’s vision for Fall Dance, course requirements, production schedule and more.
  • If you are unable to attend the audition, you can also audition for each choreographer during their schedule rehearsal times:
    • Sadie Weinberg: Fri 9am - 12pm
    • Alison Smith: T/TH 2-4pm
    • Yolande Snaith: T/TH/ Fri 4 - 6pm studio 2.
