Remote Instruction for Winter Quarter
As you are all aware, the parameters for on-campus instruction have been evolving throughout the fall quarter, and we await for more updates from the Chancellor re: winter quarter instruction. Each unit on campus is also tasked with determining what is considered absolutely essential for in-person instruction. In alliance with campus EHS, our planning for the remainder of the academic year is based on three principles:
- Health and well-being are our primary concern
- We want to provide in-person instruction to the extent possible, consistent with public health and safety guidance from the CDC, State of California, and San Diego County.
- Recognizing that some students may not be able to come to campus, and that not all courses can be offered in-person this winter.
For all first year graduate students who need to satisfy California State residency, while amendments due to COVID-19 do not require you to be in-state for fall quarter, you are required to be in-state by first week in January 2021. For further questions regarding residency, not answered by the Registrar's Office, please contact the Residence Deputy at the Registrar's Office: residencedeputy@ucsd.edu.
Exotic Deadly (Or the MSG Play)
a new play by Keiko Green, directed by Professor Jennifer Chang. Opens January 16.
