What’s up! I’m Justin (he/him/his), and I’m a 4th-year transfer student from Santa Monica College. I’m happy to call UCSD my new home and to participate as a BA representative for the first time. Some experiences I’ve had so far while attending UCSD include: 809 Almond (The Wagner New Play Festival), Feywild (Company 157), Figments of Lamentations (Company 157), Ups and Downs (Company 157). Directing Credit: And it’s Not Getting Better (Company 157).
Originally, I’m from Sacramento, California. From there, I moved to Los Angeles to begin my journey acting, directing, and participating in all sorts of projects any way I could. I’ve studied with The Groundlings, Nancy Friedman Acting Studio, and Sacramento Comedy Spot. When I’m not working on a play, I occasionally perform stand-up comedy, and have acted in a number of short films. I also love to surf and go hiking. I’m currently the Artistic Director of Company 157, a student-run theater organization, for the 24/25 season. I’m extremely open to answering any questions about getting involved with Company 157, or any of the other student organizations that UCSD has to offer. I also worked at La Jolla Playhouse as an Intern in the Philanthropy Department and am happy to share my experience or talk about UCSD’s relationship with the Playhouse.
