Biography
Torkan Omari recently made her feature film debut in No Good Men (2026) opening the 76th BERLINALE. She also starred in the short film Durrani’s Last Supper, earning Best Actress Award at the Amsterdam New Cinema Festival. Her theatre credits include the world premiere of The Recipe by Tony Award winning playwright Claudia Shear at the La Jolla Playhouse, People, Places & Things, Rogues Trial, Shar-e-Naw, Orlando, The Comedy of Errors, and the world premiere of 809 Almond. Torkan holds an MFA in Acting from the University of California San Diego and a BA in International Law and Philosophy from Amsterdam University College.
