Biography

Elliot Sagay (he/him) is a second-year MFA actor hailing from Irvine, CA. UC San Diego Credits: Vinegar Tom, No Singin’ in the Navy, X, Orlando. Selected Credits: we are continuous (Diversionary Theatre), As You Like It, Hamlet (Santa Cruz Shakespeare), A Christmas Carol (Indiana Repertory Theatre), The Magnolia Ballet (About Face Theatre), The Last Pair of Earlys (Raven Theatre), Call Me Madam (Porchlight Music Theatre). Film: "Chicago Med". Elliot graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Theatre, completing the Musical Theatre Certificate and a concentration in playwriting. As an actor, Elliot enjoys work centered around the black and queer experiences and jumps for opportunities to contribute to play development. As a playwright, Elliot is a recipient of the Agnes Nixon Playwriting Festival Award and had a play published in Black Lives, Black Words, the anthology from a play and arts organization dedicated to empowering black voices. Aside from the arts, Elliot is a devoted Manchester City supporter and avid baker.
