Zoë Trautmann

Third-year MFA Costume Design Candidate

Biography

Zoë Trautmann is a third-year MFA candidate. She is originally from Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas and holds a BA in Theatre Design/Tech from the University of North Texas and an AAS in Business Management from North Central Texas College. From 2011-2020, She was the owner and operator of Zoë's Olde Shoppe, an online antique mall specializing in ephemera, trinkets, and found items for collage, mixed media, and assemblage. She worked as a costume shop associate at University of North Texas for 2 years. She was most recently employed as an Assistant Costume Designer for Uptown Players in Dallas, TX. Selected costume design credits include: Miles for Mary (directed by Henry Greenberg), Sweeney Todd (Music Theatre of Denton), The Humans (Denton Community Theatre), Nathan the Wise (University of North Texas), New Choreographers Concert 2018 & 2019 (UNT), Steel Magnolias (DCT), Summer and Smoke (UNT). UC San Diego credits: Limp Wrist on the Lever, Napoli!, Men on Boats, Town Hall.
