Biography

Leovina Charles is a third-year MFA candidate. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she discovered her love for acting at a young age, making her professional theatre debut as Young Nala in The Lion King on Broadway. Graduating summa cum laude from Howard University with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Leovina is also an alumna of The Maggie Flanigan Studio’s 2-year Meisner Conservatory, and has studied at the British American Drama Academy (BADA) in Oxford, England.
