Dance Minor

The dance minor consists of courses which offer a range of dance making practices, the history of dance, and the process of performance. Dancers receive training in a broad range of techniques including ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, and various world dance perspectives, with opportunities to participate in masterclasses with guest artists and productions featuring faculty and student works. Students should consult the dance adviser, if necessary, and submit their completed minor petition form to the undergraduate coordinator prior to their junior year. Minor courses may not be taken on a P/NP basis.
