Biography

MARY CORRIGAN (Emerita) Taught UCSD, THEATRE SEPT, '75-95 {OR 97}. Taught at Balliol College Oxford, England (BADA) for 19 summers. Former Assoc. Director for Univ. California Education Abroad Program /UK/Ireland '89-91. Rercipient Best Actress Award: Old Globe Theatre '79. Extensive acting experience. Conducted numerous Master Voice classes and Workshops in Canada, Egypt, England, U.S., France. One of four Founders VASTA (Voice and Speech Trainers Assoc.) Coached and consulted on numerous theatre productions. Published in VASTA journals and authored chapters in each of the following books and tapes:The Vocal Vision, The Complete Voice and Speech Workout (Applause Books), The Dancer's Handbook. Narrated Natl. Public Radio Tapes on Chopin and George Sand.
