Jessie Medofer is a third-year MFA stage manager. Upcoming projects at UC San Diego include War of the Worlds (PSM) and Movers + Shakers (ASM). Previous UC San Diego credits include: Second Skin (PSM), The Burial at Thebes (ASM), Mr. Burns, a post electric play (ASM) and a studio production of Lear (PSM). Most recently, Jessie was the production stage manager of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street presented outdoors by Piper Theatre Productions in the Old Stone House Park in Brooklyn, NY and assistant stage manager of the world premiere of Judy presented by Page 73 Productions at the New Ohio Theatre in the West Village. Jessie graduated from Brown University in 2013 with a BA in Education Studies. She was awarded the Susan Ross Steinfeld Award for academic excellence in theatre by the Department of Theatre Arts and Performance Studies for her work as a stage manager as well as Assistant Production Director. Brown University credits include: A Perfect Wedding (PSM), Festival of Dance (PSM), A Lie of the Mind (PSM), The Famished (PSM), How I Learned to Drive (PSM), Lulu (ASM); Writing is Live Fesival: He is Here He Says I Say (PSM). Following graduation, she joined McCarter Theatre Center’s 2013-14 intern class as the full-season stage management intern. McCarter credits include: Proof, Fences, The Figaro Plays, In the Writer’s Voice 2014 (SM Assistant); The White Snake (Production Assistant); A Christmas Carol (Young Ensemble Supervisor). Jessie has also spent several summers in Providence developing new work with Brown/Trinity Playwrights Repertory Theatre. Credits include: The Droll (PSM), Melena (PSM).
