Props:
- Props are the result of long and hard labor of many people. They are not to be played with, sat on, fired, eaten, read, handled, etc. by ANYONE except the particular actor or crew person designated. The enforcement of this rule falls to the stage crew. DO NOT hesitate to correct someone who is messing around backstage. You will be the one held accountable when the prop is missing or broken, so protect yourself and maintain a professional attitude. DO NOT hesitate to let the props supervisor know if you are having problems enforcing rules with actors.
